Entry Requirements

​

Participants must:

• Be physically capable of performing at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor

• Be able to perform rescue breaths on a training manikin

• Have access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone for any required online learning

Assessment Requirements

​

To achieve competency, participants will complete:

• CPR on an adult manikin

• CPR on an infant manikin

• Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

• Recovery position demonstration

• Written knowledge assessment (multiple choice done online)

CPR Certificate Validity

​

The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends CPR training be renewed every 12 months.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for:
